Free2Move adds 50 new Citroën Ami to its Madrid carsharing fleet

  • Free2Move introduces a new 100% mobility solution to its fleet of more than 600 vehicles including Peugeot e-208, Citroën C-Zero and Citroën e-Berlingo, betting on the smallest carsharing model available in Madrid.
  • The quadricycle will have a special service area, covering the center of Madrid city.

Free2Move is boosting its carsharing service in Madrid with the addition of a new mobility solution to its 100% electric fleet: the Citroën Ami. This new commitment to meet the needs of its users allows a more agile mobility in the city center thanks to its reduced size. Over 300,000 Free2Move Carsharing users can now access 50 Citroën Ami with just one click, directly from the application, through a 100% digital process.

Citroën Ami, the smallest carsharing in Madrid

Citroën Ami breaks new ground by offering a disruptive, environmentally friendly and highly comfortable mobility solution tailored to people's needs. Its zero CO2 emissions enables it to access low-emission zones in city centers, while driving easily and quietly, even in pollution peaks. Its 75 km range is perfectly suited for short urban, peri-urban or rural journeys. It far exceeds the average distance travelled daily in metropolitan areas.

"Free2Move's goal is to simplify mobility for its users, which includes increasing the number of vehicles available in the center of Madrid and making parking easier. With its reduced size of 2.410m and its features Ami is the perfect combination to enhance our customers' experience. The Citroën AMI is also the ideal solution for short journeys" says Ignacio Román, General Manager of Free2Move Iberia.

Ami service area

The Citroën Ami will have a special service area, covering the center of Madrid and the districts of Retiro, Salamanca, Chamberí, Chamartín and Tetuán. This mobility solution will be available to all Free2Move Carsharing users aged 18 and over with a type B driving licence who properly register on the Free2Move platform.
