If you are arriving from Kona International Airport, a free on-demand shuttle is available for rentals of 7 days or more.

For rentals less than seven days, an optional one-time shuttle fee of $119 (includes tip) can be added to your rental. The airport shuttle is a private shuttle that can be scheduled according to your flight, number of bags and passengers.

The shuttle is with Big Island Transportation. They will track your flight and meet you at Baggage Claim and help with your bags. We will email you a form to complete to schedule your airport shuttle.

Big Island Transportation will text, call or email you the day before each of your shuttles to reconfirm all your details. 1. Go to the location, at the address indicated above.  
 
2. Once on location, ask to be directed to a Rent agent.  
 
3. The agent will check your identity.  
 
4. You will be asked to do the car inspection with your smartphone app.  
 
5. You will be able to leave the location with the vehicle.  

 Few details about the rental car process

• The vehicle is provided to you with a certain gas level left by its owner, please ensure to bring the vehicle back at the same gas level. If this is not the case, we will charge you the gas difference.  
 
• Please do a rigorous departure/return car inspection and return the vehicle clean (inside and outside). In case of non-compliance with this rule, a cleaning fee may be charged.  

 You will need to bring the following documents:

• Your credit card used for the deposit (it must be in the driver's name),  
 
• A valid driver's license for each driver of the vehicle (in case your license is in a foreign language, thank you for presenting an official translation),  

 WARNING: Without these items, our agents will not give you the vehicle.
