As a media company, one of our challenges in our business is to act sustainably. Free2move is an important partner in this respect.
How many employees does your company have and how many of them use car-sharing for business?
Our company currently has around 550 employees. We have two business accounts which are regularly used by 8 employees per month, mainly reporters and cameramen.
What experiences have you had with the onboarding process of the platform/service?
The platform is intuitive and the application works quickly and easily.
However, the fact that the employee has to create an account with a personal payment profile before being able to add the professional payment profile is sometimes misunderstood.
What was the decisive factor in your decision to offer car-sharing for business? Cost savings, flexibility...?
Flexibility is of course a factor that contributed most to the choice of car-sharing.
In our industry we have to stay agile. Shooting requests can come anytime. That is why using car-sharing vehicles saves our employees time and is also more cost-effective than using taxis or other mobility services such as Uber.
To what extent has the introduction of car-sharing for business made a positive contribution to your company's environmental sustainability goals?
Our company has been EMAS-certified since last year.
With our environmental statement, we have committed ourselves to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and want to create a positive impact for our environment.
One more important point is the reduction of our CO2 footprint. it is therefore important that our employees make more use of shared mobility and only use cars where necessary. In this sense, car-sharing is an ideal option.
Can you give us specific instances where car-sharing for business has proved particularly valuable to your organization?
Every-time we have last minute missions. One click and the vehicle is booked! This is the kind of flexibility we need. The monthly invoice and easy payment for the companies are also very important.
How would you describe the level of customer service and the speed of response of the team in solving problems or concerns of your company?
The level of customer support is very good. Responses are very quick and there is help on all topics such as invoicing and accounting.
